Photo Box with Ladies Diary from Graphic 45

Hi Everyone,

I must first apologize for the lapse in posts lately but life has just been busy.  I do promise to get better and my goal is to post at least once per week starting now.

So, with that said, here is the first project I made with the September Kit from Scrap'n With Flair.  This kit is amazing as it is filled with Ladies Diary paper line from Graphic 45.

I made a smaller version of a photo box.

Then I took another one of the papers (as I got two of the same page) which had the perfect rectangular pictures of ladies in different outfits, cut them out and made a memory game out of them to be stored in the box.

My daughter was so excited and wanted to start playing the game right away.  If you are interested in getting this kit for yourself, you can go here to get one before they all sell out.

Until next time,

Altered Wooden Box

Hi Everyone,

Here are the close up pictures I took of the wooden box that I altered and did a YouTube video of.

These are pictures of the whole box.

I painted the box with a Lindy's Stamp Gang Moon Shadow Mist - Moonlight Mulberry.
The top of the box, decorated with I Am Roses and using the July Kit from Scrap'n With Flair which features the Basic Grey Plumeria paper line.

I used the cardstock stickers in the kit to put my daughter's name on the keepsakes box.

Pictures of the inside of the box.
The flowers and bling all came in the July kit.

As I stated earlier, I altered this wooden box using products purchased from Scrap'n With Flair as well as the July Kit.  Go to the store to purchase your kit before they all sell out!!  You can go here to get your kit.

Until next time.

Scrap'n With Flair July Kit

Hey Everyone,

The new July Kit from Scrap'n With Flair was released on July 1, 2012.  It is a fabulous kit filled with so many goodies and you now have the option of ordering an add on kit filled with even more goodies.  Just go to Scrap'n With Flair to get your kits.

The first project I made with this kit is I altered a jar.
I took some cardstock (my own stash) and added a piece of the patterned paper to it and wrapped it around the jar.  I then took some lace trim (in the kit) and glued it on the top of the cardstock piece.

Then I took some of the flowers in the kit and stuck them on the top of the jar.  I took some of the Dusty Concord Tim Holtz Distress Ink (in the kit) and colored the edges of the large white flower.

Lastly, I took some of the flat backed pearls and stuck them on the seam of the paper
on the back of the jar to finish it off.

When I decide who this jar will go to, I will take one of the tags (in the kit) and attach it to the front of the jar.

I have already created several projects with the July Kit and add on kit as it is the beautiful Plumeria line from Basic Grey.  Stay tuned for more projects.

Also, I will be announcing the July Challenge in a few days.  Thank you to all who entered the June challenge and I am looking forward to seeing all the entries for the July challenge.

Until next time.

Chipboard Album

Hey Everyone,

I finally took some close up pictures of my Fab Scraps Chipboard Album that I posted a YouTube video on a few weeks ago.

I traced each page on the patterned paper of my choice and pasted it to the page.  Then I sanded all the edges.  The bling trim and black lace along with the flowers all came in the kit.

Ribbon and embellishments.

Close up of flowers (I Am Roses) and glitter (stickles).

 2nd page.
I could not do much with this page due to the limited area avaliable.

 3rd page.
I cut out the shapes to match the album with my silhouette cameo machine.  The tag, which I will be using for journalling, came in the kit.  The pearl, flower embellishment did not come in the kit but you can purchase it at Scrap'n With Flair.

4th page.
Some of the sparles were in the kit and some were from my stash.

5th page.
Several different metal embellishments came in the kit and all the kits were different.

Close up of metal butterfly embellishment.

Close up of metal fairy embellishment.

 6th page.
The sayings were from various Close to my Heart Stamp sets and I used my silhouette cameo machine to cut out the shapes.

Close up of flower metal embellishment.

7th page.
The chipboard piece on the left side came with the album.
The black, flat backed pearls came in the kit.

Close up of flowers (I Am Roses) and heart metal embellishment.

This chipboard piece came with the album.  I painted it black, covered it with crakle medium and then painted the burgandy color over the top.  The black, flat backed pearl came in the kit.

There are all the close up pictures I have of my album.  I hope you all liked it.

I posted all the June Father's Day Card Challenge photos on the Scrap'n With Flair blog and the winner was announced as well so please go take a look.  I will be posting the July Challenge in a week or so so please keep on checking back for that.

Until next time.

Card with June KIt

Hey Everyone,

Here is a card I made with the June Kit from Scrap'n With Flair.  There are only a few kits left so if you have not purchased yours yet, you better go purchase one from the store and quick.

I know it is June but I had my kit to work with in May and that is why I created this Mother's Day card and am only posting it now.

I know you cannot see the card that great but I loved how the sun was shinning in the window and the effect it made in this picture.

A couple more, better, pictures of the card.

Here are some close up pictures of the flower I made.  I inked all the edges of the flower, the tag that says "mom" and all the papers with black ink.

I still have more projects I have made with this fabulous kit so keep on checking back.  Also, just a reminder that the deadline for the June Challenge from Scrap'n With Flair is coming quick so get your entries in for your chance to win the awesome prize!!!

Until next time.
