"My Car" Layout

Hello Everyone,

Here is the first project I made with my March Kit from Scrap'n With Flair.

My Car Layout
I sponge daubered the edges of all the cardstock, patterned papaer, cardboard and the red piece (which is a part of one of the papers in the kit) with the car on it.

I used the alphabet stickers from the combo cardstock sticker sheet in the kit to make the title for the layout.

This yellow tag is for jounaling and I stuck it behind the car picture as I wanted it hidden yet still easy to find and access for those who would like to read it.

Lastly, I used yellow cardstock to highlight the one picture, which I felt my son was showing me his car.

That is the first of the projects I made with the March kit.  Like I said before, these kits are limited so if you want one, you can purchase it at Scrap'n With Flair.

Stay tuned for more.
Until next time.

March Scrap'n With Flair Kit

Hello everyone,

I have to apologize as I am a day late posting about my new March Scrap'n With Flair Kit.   I say "my" as each of the design team members were allowed to pick the products for their own kit this month so there are 2 other kits you can purchase this month plus mine.  You can go to Scrap'n With Flair to view all the kits.

My kit is all about boys.  My scrapbooking supplies have focused around girlie papers and embellishments as I have a daughter but I just had a son and now am focused on producing some pages/memories of him so that is how I decided on "my" kit for this month.

This kit has the new Echo Park - A Boy's Life papers (12), sticker combo sheets (2), various embellishments, trim, canvas shapes, cord and other goodies.

If you are interested in this kit, hurry to Scrap'n With Flair to purchase your kit as there are only 3 (of this specific kit) to purchase due to there being several kits to choose from this month.

I will start posting pictures of what I created with this kit in a few days so keep on checking back.

Until next time.

"Wallet" Photo Mini Album

Hello Everyone,

While I am waiting to post pictures of what I made with my March Kit from Scrap'n With Flair, I decided to blog about other projects I have made over the years.

I call this project a "wallet" photo album because it folds up like a wallet.  The black band is what keeps the wallet together.

When you open the wallet, you see three flaps.  Each flap opens, as well as, has a tag that comes out of it for all your photo and journaling needs.

This is a very simple mini album to make and once I find the instructions, I will post them so you all can make your own wallet album.  It is nice and small so it fits in your purse really nicely to carry with you at all times.  And, instead of making the whole wallet again, as your pictures age, you can just replace the tags.

Well, I have been working really hard on my projects with my March Kit and cannot wait until the release date of March 15th  so I can post all the projects I have made.  Stay tuned for more.

Until next time.

Envelope/Card Album

Hello all,

Here is an album I am creating using envelopes for the pages and cards for where you would put your pictures and journaling.  This album is a work in progress as I created a new binding system for it and have already come up with ways to change it.  Therefore, the album is very basic and once I have completed it, I will post updated pictures.  I just wanted to show you all what I am working on.

Here are the cards attached to the envelopes to make the pages.
I think these cards are beautiful as they embossed on the front.

As you can see, the cards open up with two different flaps for lots of photo and journaling space.

The album uses 3 envelopes and 6 cards.
All the cards are different colors and have a different embossed front.

That is all.  Like I said, once I complete the album, I will post the finished pictures.

Also, the March Kit from Scrap'n With Flair will be revealed on March 15th.  There are 4 different kits to choose from this month.  So exciting!!!  I will continue to post other projects I have completed until the reveal and then I will post all the projects I made with my kit.

Until next time.
